Apple Skirts

I seem to have a thing for apple prints on skirts...

One for Elly;

And one for Liv;

Goop!

Today we made Goop...

...and the girls absolutely loved it. The recipe is so simple: Mix together some cornflour, water and food colouring. The texture is so unusual; hard when you first pick it up and then it slowly goes gooey and turns into liquid in your hands.

What a beautiful mess we made!

I bought my girls (although I am tempted to keep them for myself) these beautiful hand-crafted animals at a recent fair;

I wish I had the talent and patience for hand stitching like this! And I love the tail on that little squirrel!
