Felt Gingerbread Houses

Last year I made my next-door neighbours these half-eaten Gingerbread Men to go with our Christmas cards.

This year, I was inspired by the Gingerbread House Ornament from designer Laura Howard at Sew Mama Sew. I used what I had on hand (thus, rather dark gingerbread!) and once again, the girls' sequins came in handy for yet another craft. I embellished the door and window and added a piece of contrasting felt at the back (mainly to hide the knots from my amateur hand stitching!)

Best of all, they are the perfect size to hide inside a card...
