Felt Ornaments with Lace

A few years ago, my mother-in-law gave me a bag filled with rolls of lace. I'm not sure how 'vintage' the lace is... so I didn't want to cut it all up, but I did use one of the rolls to make these simple felt Christmas ornaments;

I used this Christmas Ornament Tutorial for the bauble shapes.

The felt is wrapped just across the front side, then tucked in-between the two layers of felt, pinned, then top-stitched all the way around.

I made six, in three colours;

I am not really a huge fan of lace usually, but I do think it makes a nice contrast on the felt;
