Making

I am definitely happiest when making something. Yet there never seems to be enough hours in the day! It's nice to squeeze in something creative here and there, however small, whenever possible...

This morning Nick took the girls for bush-walk so while they were eating their morning tea by a waterfall, I made this Chocolate Coconut Slice to have for an afternoon treat this week;

I added 1/2 cup of Coco-Pops for extra crunch. Yummo!

{I am working at the school two days this week, so it probably would have been better to make a dinner to freeze but... where's the fun in that?!?!}

Earlier this week, I jazzed up a plain tea-towel (jumbo size) with a strip of happy fabric;

Yesterday, the girls and I tried our hand at making a collage on an old canvas;

I think the trick for next time is knowing when to stop!

It's very addictive, adding embellishments and we went a bit crazy with the glitter at the end!

This afternoon, Livvie was desperate to play computer games, but her mean, terrible parents said no. (There is a Computer Bus that comes to her Preschool once a week to teach her how to use a computer) so she got a bit creative and resorted to making her own computer keyboard;

I love how she put all the initials of her friends in the first row!

Meanwhile, I am finishing up a little bit of Easter sewing;

You have been having fun. I like the look of your Easter craft. Sadly I think we will be without decorations this year, so I will be adopting yours as mine also (hope that is ok!)
