When I saw the pretty coasters made by Nana Company on Copy & Paste, I just had to try making some myself. I have never sewn ric-rac into a seam before and I must admit, it was a little tricky!
Luckily, there is so much help for all types of sewing techniques online. I used this advice and forged ahead, with my fabric finds from The Fabric Cave and the 15 meters of ric-rac I also bought from there, for just 15 cents a metre! Now we have a cute little set of six coasters;
And I can't help but think, what a nice little sewing project it is, to start and finish on a Saturday afternoon!
