Oh, definitely one of the best things about being a Mum is getting little handmade cards and gifts from your children. I treasure all the lovely things they make for me on a daily basis (although I could do without the paper trail ALL through the house!).... and I try to put them on display at least for a short while, before putting them inside their scrapbooks (if I'm really organised, which currently, I am not!) or in a box for keeping and sorting at a later date.
This week I got to see the girls perform in the Mothers Day Concert at their Preschool (see other blog for footage) and I got a few little early Mothers Day gifts. They each presented me with a card and a little something they had made. Livvie did all the writing on her card but Elly (being 3 years old) dictated hers to her teacher. I love her answers;

Especially since I don't actually drink tea (or read my own books, for that matter!) and I know that what she meant (but what probably didn't register for the teacher) was that my favourite food is 'Cheese on toast'. hehe... Elly would know, she always asks for a bite and ends up eating half of it!
Elly gave me a little keyring with her photo in it and Livvie painted a portrait of me on a tile;
I love the rainbow just over my shoulder.
{That's just how I feel everyday, very lucky to be the Mum of my two little girls}
Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums out there!
Also, I have had some lovely comments and emails lately, thank you so much! And thank you to all of you, for stopping by to read my little blog...
