I simply uploaded the photos I wanted to use, then used the 'Effects' tab under the 'Create' section to change the picture to 'Pencil Sketch'.
I then added some Text (as Livvie is so keen on learning to write everyone's names properly!) and Voila!
These are just some of the pictures (they each had 10 photos to colour in their book) and the girls are just loving working their way through all the memories inside, talking about their friends and cousins that they love so much and all the fun things they have enjoyed together.
I haven't managed to snap any photos of their coloured-in pictures yet, but you should see the crazy hair everyone has, based on what the girls think each person's favourite colour is! Not to mention the lipstick drawn on the girls and the rosy cheeks... it's quite a sight!
I thought this idea would also be good for some paper placemats, the next time we have little friends over.... And I like the idea of making a colouring book for each of the girls, filled with pictures of their favourite toys, as a little keepsake too of their personalities at this age and stage. I like this effect on photos and I think you could use it in so many different ways. Maybe even a birthday invitation...?
