Today's goal was to clean up the bookcase in our lounge-room. Elly and I re-organised all the books, by colour.
This was BEFORE;
Notice the girls left-over picnic food on the bottom shelf (plastic food, thank goodness!) and then random bits and pieces shoved into each shelf. Christening candles... pay slips... random photos... What a mess!

Oh I could look at that all day long. I love this kind of thing! Our books are all in cupboards with doors so I don't get to show them off... maybe I should do something about that! :)
It does look so much better doesn't it. I like the boys clothes colour coded in the wardrobe too, it helps them with colour matching and picking out their clothes.
GREAT idea - I have been eyeing up our bookcase thinking "what a mess".
I may have to borrow this idea too!
