Elly brings home colourful art from Preschool every week;
I find colourful notes left around the house from Livvie, every day;
I often admire those picture-perfect homes in every shade of white. They look so beautiful and peaceful, calm and relaxing. No clutter or mess!
But I have come to the realisation that for our little family, our home is always going to be very colourful...
And messy;
About 20 minutes after the girls got home from school today

Ah yes the messy room, everyone should have one! I am finding my office is in a state and so I have started to clear things out again! We all have to learn how to tidy up and be organised after having messy, unorganised moments, it clears the mind and gives us a blank canvas to be creative all over again.It is something we will continue to do through our lives. It is so important to live in an environment that makes you feel comfortable, and relaxed, after all it is your home, where you spend most of your time. So nice to see all that colourful artwork! Some people love to be around masses of colour and it works well for them. I can't decide which makes me more relaxed... a house like an Art Gallery with splurges of bright colour or a simple neutral natural colour scheme. Perhaps a combination is nice, a little like a forest with a ruby red parrot spotted now and then.
Nick is a talented artist as are your girls....they come from talented genes!
I recently visited the San Fransisco Museum of Modern Art & the paintings displayed on your walls certainly rival those on the walls at SFMOMA!
I love the colour in your house!
