Give a dog a bone

Elly has recently become very attached to her dogs; three fluffy companions, who are played with constantly. So today, we made them a little treat;

Some little felt dog bones

And there was a special request for some doggie cookies too;

They were well received;

And by some fluke, the bone fit in his mouth perfectly and didn't fall out!

In the afternoon, we walked up to school to pick up Livvie - with Elly pushing 'Peter the Pup' in her shopping trolley, wearing his bag of doggie treats like a cape!

There is a cute little dog who always runs to the gate to see us as we pass and Elly was very excited to offer him a dog bone;

Unfortunately he wasn't interested, turned his back and walked away!

It's funny how something so simple can be such a great source of amusement all day...
