Cheeky Monkeys

We were cooped up inside for most of yesterday, due to the gale force winds in Sydney. There were sticks and branches falling from the trees and our laundry door flew off it's hinges and the glass at the top of the door smashed, as it came crashing to the ground. Luckily we were all inside, because that is right in the path of where the girls ride their bikes!

Late in the afternoon, the girls were playing in the living room while I cooked dinner.... I could hear some jumping and then two big bumps as they landed on the floor. So I peeked in and reminded them; 

'No jumping on the furniture!'.

There was silence for a few minutes. Then another loud bump.

Elly said, 'I don't think you should be doing that'

To which Livvie replied, 'Mum said 'No jumping on the furniture, she didn't say anything about jumping OFF the furniture!'

Anyway, I think we are all looking forward to summer;
