In the lead-up to Easter, Nick and I gave the girls a Bunny night-light each;

On Easter Sunday, we gathered at Nanny and Grandpa's for lunch and the Great Annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The girls were quite certain these bunnies reported back to the Easter Bunny himself, so they have been pretty well-behaved lately!
On Easter Sunday, we gathered at Nanny and Grandpa's for lunch and the Great Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Nick's Mum had made a beautiful new wreath for her front door;

The littlies search for medium-sized eggs, while the big cousins searched for the tiny ones (to make it a bit harder for them!)...

So beautiful! The girls came bearing gifts and handmade cards...
Nanny is a good sport about it all...
We gave her two little clay chicks to add to her collection of Easter decorations.
She always has a pretty Easter tree....

And a springtime table;
We enjoyed a delicious Roast for lunch;
Followed by yummy Pavlova and Raspberry Cheesecake;
Then, just when we thought the children's tummies might be full (they weren't... never are!) ~ it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt!

This year we included plastic eggs...
Filled with puffy and sparkly stickers...

(This gave the little ones a little activity to do after the hunt; they sat down and decorated their plastic eggs with the stickers)
It was so much fun watching them run around and find all the eggs!
