These days, many think that having three children makes for a 'big' family. I guess it does in some ways (although not compared to other Catholic families from our school!)... however it's really not too different from having two - I found the biggest adjustment for us, was going from one child to two children.
Anyway, it's funny, because this year I have noticed that with the addition of Oliver to our family, the way other people address our Christmas cards has changed. I know it doesn't help that our girls names are difficult to spell and I guess with five names in total to write, it's all a bit cumbersome. So here are some of the creative alternatives we received;
Margaret, Nick and 'The Gang'
(Some days they really do seem like a 'Gang'!)
'Margaret, Nick and all the troops'
(That makes it sound like there is a lot of us... a small army!)
Margaret & Nick (+ 2 pretty little ones) + baby
(From our elderly neighbours)
And my personal favourite;
Nic, Margaret and your increasing family unit!

Haha, these are cute! We always have cards addressed like this because my sister, brother and I all have unusual and hard to spell names (Sunae, Shoni and Kobi).
My Friends parents had a creative idea, their names were Art & Beverly. Their first born was named Cheryl, the next Dwight, Erica & Floyd.
Which equals ABCDEF! Easy to address Christmas cards :-)
I have friends who are Tanya, Duncan & Emily - we call them TED.
You could be known as "MELON".....well perhaps best to stick with The Holts!
