Cloth Dolls

I am still adjusting to the world of boys and their toys, but I definitely know what little girls like. On Monday, we made cloth dolls with a little friend. Here they are, designing their dolls;

First, they drew their doll design onto white cotton;

Then we turned it face-down on top of another piece of cotton, stitched around the outline, cut it down to size and turned it right-side out. Then the girls stuffed it with Polyfill.

Soon we had a Ballerina, made by Livvie;

A Big Sister by Sami;

And an Angel by Elly;

And I'm not sure what you would call this type of doll, but this is what Nick made!

I love this idea! I might have to try this for an upcoming sleepover I am hosting for a little one.
She's so creative.

I love Nick's creation....what a good sport!
