'Hooray! My Mum finally finished my quilt!'
It's just a small one;
(1 metre x 1 metre)
More like a play mat, really.
In fact, the girls each have one this size and they call them their 'rugs'.
This one took me just over 6 months to make... snails pace!
I am not a (proper) quilter, so I don't know if this technique has a name, but I just did two lines of stitching either side of each seam and it made for a nice pattern on the back;
Ollie inspects my handiwork;
And I think he approves...
